Door & Window repair

hello! my wife and i recently purchased the parlor floor of a co-oped brownstone in park slope.  we have two entrances into our apt which both have two enormous wooden doors that are probably close to 100 years old.  both doors need extensive repairs as do some of our parlor window frames.  we are looking for someone who specializes in restoring wood doors (which have lots of detail) along with old wood window frames.  all recommendations are most appreciated! thank you.

Definately get a bid from Omar at Artistic Wood Crafts — they are located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. They specialize in doors and are the most honest contractors I’ve ever worked with.  Call him at 646-541-3409.  they have lots of posts on this forum — so you may be able to find them to see what others say about them as well.

For old door repairs/carpentry I’ve heard lots of great things about Ted Harris, who’s in Clinton Hill and often over at Eddie’s salvage place on Greene & Grand.  Dont believe he does any of the stripping/refinishing though…
