Shout out for Shades of Elegance

Just had the best experience with a service provider and wanted to share it. We had a shade installed over a skylight in the bedroom and we had many problems with it. It didn’t close properly, it would get hung up on nothing, and it was too high up in the well of the skylight to easily reach. Shades of Elegance was recommended to us and they just left after spending two hours removing the entire shade assembly and adjusting it so it moved smoothly and reinstalling it so it was installed at the bottom of the skylight well rather than the top. Much much easier to open and close and it no longer hangs up in the middle. We were thrilled and ready for a big bill (two hours of time). The bill came to $40\. We couldn’t be happier. Brian clearly knew exactly what needed to be done and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any shade installations or replacements. They don’t have a website – but their receipt shows that they do Micro, Mini and Venetian blinds, Verticals, all types of shades, pleated shades, wallpaper, radiator covers, floor tiles, drapery hardware and top treatments. They are at 7609 13th Ave and if the quality of Brian’s work and his responsiveness are any indication of the overall work they do, you won’t be disappointed.
