This looks like a spam post to me but since you asked: For a wood-frame house with wood siding, wood siding is best. Second best in terms of looks but more durable is cement fiber board (Hardie ). Third best is vinyl siding. If you make reasonably big window and door trim, new siding can look very nice on an old house. It is also more affordable than stucco. Stucco is totally inappropriate on a wood frame house with wood siding, it is expensive, and has potential to cause horrible damage and problems down the road (massive leaks and peeling away from the substrate).
