SPRINKLER CODE

My 2 family house has an existing sprinkler system that I am going to redo during my renovation. there is currently a 2″ main that feeds the system. is that still to code or do i need to upgrade to a 3″ main? or does that depend on the # of sprinkler heads or height of the building?

sprinkler engineer can answer and you cant alter it without that but dont be scared if you simply relocating a few heads its not a big deal that pipes huge for a house youre fine
