Seeking contractor for minor renovation

We are looking for a contractor to help spruce up our new 3 BR apartment. The bulk of the work is refinishing the wood floor and painting the entire apartment. Then there are several smaller jobs which include things like switching out bathroom sinks, replacing a granite countertop in the kitchen, MAYBE replacing the kitchen floor (that’s a bigger job), etc. I estimate it’s 2-3 weeks of work, so a lot of contractors probably aren’t interested in a small job, or they just don’t have the time. We’d be looking to start the work in mid-August. Let me know if you’ve got anyone to recommend! We are more interested in high quality (and reliability) vs. saving money but obviously, hoping not to break the bank, either.

it would help Jose if folks posted his website here. for a long time I just thought he was a guy who did some floors and some other things. then I met some people who he had done floors for and got to see his work, and wow. only then did I look at his website and realized that he was the go to guy for floors for a reason. Jose Zambrano of Better Wood Floors Very professional – did exactly what he said, quickly. Refinished our floors nicely and installed a new tile floor in my kitchen. Highly recommend, the best contractor I’ve worked with. You could pay more if you want but no guarantee they’d do a better job. He only does floors though. Painting you should definitely shop around, I got quoted prices that were 6x what I paid. And the rest of your stuff sounds like a handyman could do it.
