Hey, i need one for three home inspections i have done. in one or two cases, the owners will probably pay someone to take a look and prepare something very formal to direct repairs. in the third case, a young “kid” is buying a house and before he gets too far along, i am suggesting he take pictures of the problem to an engineer for a quick look just to see if he should pass on the house altogether. any recommendations would be appreciated.

be very careful here. i have called some facade places to see if any can really deal with serious structural problems and if they can take direction from an engineer and i am finding that many of these people are not formally trained and really seem to do things on the go – more at simple facade recoating and less at dealing with underlying structural problems. i called Grenedier and they will no longer touch residential.
