Gold Leaf Transom Numbers Reference

Just giving as really good reference for Lawrence at ancientartny.com. He came today (Sunday) and gilded our 118 year old transom (original wavy and bubbly glass) with real gold leaf and painted shadow and backing. He sketched it freehand using a photo we found online whose font we liked. It worked out to be about $100 per letter, took him about 3 hours, and we couldn’t be happier. If you need your house transom renumbered in real gold leaf call him. Very nice guy and does a great job.

Certainly – he does a very good job. And as for the $100 per letter, he was actually cheaper than some others quoted – quite a bit cheaper than one in particular. For real gold leaf, and not just some paint or stick-ons, I thought it was a good price.
