GC recommendations?

I am looking to do some work on my house in Park Slope and would love to get recommendations from anyone who has had good recent experience with a general contractor. The work I’m looking to do is to create a rental unit (my house is already a legal 2 family) and involves: – building an external staircase to the parlor floor and recreating the doorway (now a window) – building a wall that divides the parlor floor in half and creating a kitchen in the new unit – painting, moving a washer/dryer, some electrical work. My area is not landmarked (yet). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
