Hello, does anyone have numbers for having electrics replaced recently for a 4 storey brownstone? Just the electric portion of a gut reno part would also be very helpful. Thanks!

There is a guy who lives over here by me and he works in brooklyn. Tom munetz of munetz electrical contracting.
Any of my customers who have used him and quite a few people on here like him. They like him a lot.

50k for 4 floors plus cellar complete rewire with new panels etc and converting 1 fam service to 2. Includes hvac, etc. fully licensed and insured. Not a gut reno so they had to create tranches in the original plaster to run wires. Big job.

Our recent CO for this was 4.6k for the electrical for 1 floor (~800 sq ft) — scope was for rewiring “existing points with new wires and boxes, removing old panel and refeeding to [newer panel on another floor]” so maybe not a complete gut number, but hopefully it gives you an idea.
