Drop ceiling install in relation to existing sprinklers...LIC condo building

Hi All,

My client is inquiring about installing a drop ceiling so he can put in canless lights. The ceiling is cement. This is a relatively new condo hi rise in LIC. There are sprinklers in both return walls and soffits from the existing ceilings. Does anyone know what the code is for the minimum displacement between the sprinkler location and ceiling? Any help is greatly appreciated.
