i’d say under 10K sounds cray. my asbestos abatement (roof and parts of kitchen and stairs) was around 20K and i got quotes up to 50K. the rest of your demo would probably be in the 35 to 40 range.

We just got quotes for our place a month ago. It is 1980sqft but I do have to mention we’re also removing a the back exterior wall of the house, however I think most of the price for creating a structure around that is in a separate line item. We are also demoing the roof (to be rebuilt and replaced) so that might add to the cost, however the quotes we got were 30-60k (wide range, as always.)

If you have asbestos on the roof, plan for 12-15k for that abatement not including the temp roof.

Depends on the level of demo (are you taking everything down to the studs? Subfloor?) I would plan on 25-40k including haul-away for the demo. The asbestos will probably be pricey, and keep in mind that you may also need to do the roof if you are planning on replacing it. We are not abating anything interior, but are abating the roof and the rear facade and it’s coming in at under 20k, but not by much. I have the feeling that internal work is probably more expensive, but I have no hard facts on that.
