Any suggestions- looking for a multifamily or mixed use building or small M1-2 space (like an old autobody or ironwork shop) in Gowanus area?

 Me and a couple of friends have been looking to purchase something in the Gowanus area- partly for our own use and partly as an investment- I’ve searched the NY TImes and lots of other real estate sites and Craigslist and Streeteasy, but it seems like there is nothing out there in the Gowanus area.  We’re not looking for anything huge and we have the money to buy, but it just seems like it is very hard to find something like that- everything is for rent and very little for sale.   There is stuff like this in Sunset Park, but we really want to be in the Gowanus area.   If anyone has any advice or knows of something that might fit the bill, please email me at brooklynmaterials at gmail dott com
