Bed-Stuy near Tompkins Park

Hi, my husband and I are looking at a brownstone on quincy between marcy and nostrand in bed-stuy. We’ve hear a lot of mixed things about the neighborhood. Does anyone live in that area and/or have thoughts? I would so appreciate hearing them. thanks.

I am looking for your advice re: architectural plans. I am purchasing a 3 family home using a 203k loan. As a condition of closing we have to file plans and have them approved prior to closing. Does anyone have suggestions of architects who work quickly and get plans approved quickly? This area has quieted down tremendously. I’ve purchased a investment in that same neighborhood and even my tenants are not bothered. T^he question is can you call the house your home?
