Radiator Refinishing

Looking for advice/recommendations on how best to refinish old cast iron steam radiators that are caked in peeling paint.  Choices seem to be between sandblasting (and powder coating) or paint stripping (dipping) and painting.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated (including anything else I may need to worry about, etc.).

we concur. sandblasting will provide you with the  cleanest  stripping, and remove all paint and rust. plus any fine details will be crisp.

The former. Unquestionably the best choice.
