Loud, late parties on St Johns (Washington-Classon)

Find out where the party is being held and have a polite conversation with the party throwers.  If all else fails, go join the party and be sure to drink all their beer 🙂  Seriously though, talk to them.  Nicely.

I have been in my apartment on Sterling Place between Washington and Classon for 3 months. Since it’s been warm, there have been two parties at a house on St John’s Place. The music from the backyard is very loud – the bass is vibrating in the back of my apartment on Sterling Place. There is a live DJ and a very legit sound system. I’m writing this message at 1:38am, during the second of these parties. The parties seem to be happening at a house immediately next door to FDNY Engine 280/Ladder 132.I actually like the music the DJ plays, and the party sounds fun. But this is a neighborhood, and that’s not a club on St John’s.1) Who else is bothered by this?2) Other than calling 311, what can we do to prevent this from happening anymore?
