Low water pressure
We have low water pressure on the top (3rd) floor of our brownstone and I’m wondering how much it should cost to install a pump to improve the pressure…Has anyone done this who can recommend a plumber? Thanks

We actually had the same exact issue in another house a while back and it turned out to be the valve on the city waterwain that was the issue, I guess they needed to install a bigger one. We used Harris Water Main & Sewer who successfully resolved our problem

Maybe you undersized your pipes, or over-installed on your water outlets.

You don’t want a pump in your 3-story brownstone. They make noise, stop working, need maintenance and just generally create an unpleasant environment unless you get one of the really, really expensive ones (like $5,000.00 off the shelf). Find out why you’ve got low water pressure and fix the piping.
