Painting and Replastering 600 SF rental unit

My rental unit needs painting.  It is approximately 600sf.  Kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and office.  The walls are not even and needs to be replastered and evened out.  The painter told me it would take him 4 days to replaster the living room walls and living room ceiling.  He is also replastering 1 wall in the bedroom.  He will paint the entire apartment and silicone the window edges so water does not seep in.  He will be bringing his friend to finish the work.  He told me what materials I would need, the tenants told me what paint they want, etc.  Materials will be approximately $275\.  The painter told me it would be $1,000 over 4 days.  Does this seem reasonable?

what is the name of the painter/plasterer? I need someone to do the exact same thing in my rental unit and was just quoted three times that price. if you recommend him, I would like to have him come by to do an estimate

Seems the price too low. I must say, if he wants to work for 150 bucks a day, why not work for “the boss”? By the way all depends on requested quality and time frame of the project…

When you consider that this is a rental apartment and you will get rental work quality, then 1K for labor only is low, but reasonable.

Seems low, considering all the repairs that need to be done.  This sounds like alot of corners being cut.
