Can anyone recommend a good housecleaner?

I live in downtown Brooklyn. My apartment is a 600-square foot studio, and I have been paying $70 for three hours work, but I’m willing to pay more for the right person.

Mopar, Josefa, the woman who cleans my home and my friends’ homes will travel anywhere a subway can take her to (within reason, of course).  She works for five families in Bay Ridge.  She had also worked for my friend who used to live in Brooklyn Heights, said friend has since moved to Jersey.  I know that Josefa also works for a family or two in Manhattan. Josefa is a wonderful woman. Not only is she masterful at cleaning but she is also very kind.   Again, I don’t wish to post her contact info on the web but if there is anyway you can contact me privately through this site, I would be happy to speak with you.

For the past 8 years, I have employed a wonderful house cleaner.  Please note, she has worked for my neighbor for 20 years.  She works for three of us on the block and several others in Brooklyn and NYC.  She comes to me twice a month.  She is hardworking, honest, and a delight to know.  I would rather not post her name or contact info here.  IS ther any way you could contact me through this site?

Olga (347-405-2519) is fantastic and extremely detail oriented and trustyworthy. She has cleaned my apartment and several friend’s and neighbors. Her English is somewhat limited but if you give her your address and a time she will be there. Tell her that Noelle gave you her number.

I have a great recomendation for Eloisa, she cleans my 3 story brownstone (common areas) once a month – she’s been doing that for me for years – to the point where she has a key to the house now.  Very trustworthy, she now also cleans one of the tenants apartments as well (deals directly with my tenant).  In addition she cleans my primary residence.  I schedule all my appointments with her through her husband Julio who can be reach via the following number – 718-781-9904.
