I have to get rid of some stuff.  I have about what I guess to be in excess of 100′ but up to 200′ of 1/4 inch wire rope.  it is on a spool.   Free deliver as far down in Brooklyn 15th street and any neighborhood all the way back up to queens contact is on website. Steve  www.thetinkerswagon.com

Contact Materials for The Arts in LIC. Any non-profit theater company would love this, and this is where they root around. It is a great program run by the Sanitation department. Your donations are tax deductible, they give you a letter from the city for every donation. They take partial cans of paint, scraps of wood, conduit etc…. It is all very usable stuff for artists, http://www.mfta.org/
