Slightly Unusual Lock: Where to Buy?

That’s close to the type of lock I’m looking for, as It’s plenty secure for my needs and has the right size and look. The  problem is that it doesn’t have a KEY on one of the sides. I’ve found plenty of locks like this with just a thumb turn (but no lock); conversely I’ve seen plenty of big stonker dead bolts and also plenty massive mortise lock assemblies. Any ideas for a lock of this general format with a key on one (or both) side(s)?

I want to install a lock for an interior hallway that is accessed via a single French door. The door hardware is from the 1920’s. Since the door already has a knob, I was thinking of something like a small deadbolt type lock, small in both bolt diameter and diameter of the faceplate. Something unobtrusive…not some big stonker modern deadbolt monstrosity. Something preferably with a key on one side and thumb turn on the other? The lock itself doesn’t need to be a modern marvel of super secure technology, just any old locking mechanism will do. I want something simple in brass or ‘aged’ brass that will kinda sorta blend in with the look of the place  Who would have such an item? I’m in Brooklyn Fort Greene: within reasonable distance to me or Manhattan would be most convenient.

most modern locks are bored at 2 1/8″ – so that is what you get, something at least that big.  If you google mortise locks or even mortise deadbolt, you will find something more at what you desire; some mortise locks have very small thumb turns and small key holes with small rossettes.  I would also check with Van Dykes and House of Antique Hardware to find something like this- Steve

Hmm. A lot of that stuff looks mighty burly. I just want something small and minimal, with marginal security … after all, to defeat the lock all one needs do is knock out the adjacent French door glass pane.   I also don’t need something modern (as long as it’s affordable).  Thanks for the ideas.
