Recommendation for a terrific ironworker

Just wanted to post a recommendation for a really great ironworker who my husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with.  We hired Igor Ostrovsky of Igor Security Gates and Doors (www.gates-doors.com; 718-667-6363; Igor@gates-doors.com) to refurbish and make somewhat complicated modifications to an ornate, antique metal gate under the stoop of our house in Prospect Heights. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Igor helped us install an automatic floor closer, a new mortise lock with a doorknob and an electric door strike. Throughout the process of working with him,  we were impressed with Igor’s professionalism, knowledge base, and technical skill.  The project turned out beautifully.  Having worked with many subcontractors and craftsmen in the course of renovations over the years, Igor certainly stands out as among the best. We would highly recommend Igor to anyone looking to construct, repair, or modify a metal gate, railing, fence, or door. He is a very fine craftsman and a pleasure to work with.
