Intercom system Aiphone vs. Comelit

Hi Brownstoners,

I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with intecom systems. I’m looking to install one and wondering whether the price difference between an Aiphone system and Comelit system is justified. The unit is for a single family home. The Aiphone system is almost 3x as much as the Comelit system. I can’t any notable differences between either systems to justify the difference. My biggest concern is whether the Comelit system will last as long as Aiphone.
