We were looking for a couple of these types of lights to mount outside our front door near the top of the stoop– but we wanted something of decent quality, but also fairly simple looking- maybe with built-in dusk/dawn shutoff. Any ideas of someplace in the Gowanus/Park Slope area to find them (or even further if needed)?

If you need light fixtures, Bowery between I think Grand and Kenmare in Manhattan is drenched in lighting stores.  You’ll find pretty much everything from wild chandeliers to flourescent lights.
