After much research I have decided to put a quartzite countertop onto an island in my newly renovated kitchen. I have found a slab from a stone shop in Williamsburg and already have a fabricator lined up that will cut and install. The slab is approximate 10′ x 5′ x 1 1/4″, my island is 5′ x 4′. I’ll be using approx. half the slab. If you want a small countertop cut for a kitchen or bathroom from this beautiful stone, please contact me.
