Looking for someone to re-grout our kitchen floor. It’s not a big job but I want someone who knows what they are doing, not a handyman. We had new porcelain tile installed when we renovated our kitchen about 2 years ago. The grout on the floor is coming out and needs to be replaced and probably sealed.

I am sorry, this is not a good sign. I would probably recommend replacing all the floor tile. If the grout on your kitchen floor is coming out, that suggests to me a failure in the set, not a problem with the grout. I expect this is a bigger job. Either the cabinets have to come out first, or the floor has to be cut away under the kick plates. Try tapping with your finger tips on individual tiles, especially in high traffic spots, but adjacent tiles as well. Do they all feel secure and firmly bonded to the substrate? I expect some of them feel different, there is a bit of chatter, like the bond has come loose. If the set was effective, the grout and tile would not shift, and and all your tiles would feel secure.
