Millworker for kitchen cabinet doors using Ikea cabinets

I visited the Reform showroom near Navy Yard this weekend, and I believe they will do some custom fronts if necessary. Mainly they provide Ikea Sektion kitchen fronts but if necessary, can also make some special pieces. I liked their aesthetic a lot.

I am wondering if anyone has used a local millworker for cabinet doors using Ikea cabinets. If so, can you share your experience and who you used.

We redid our kitchen with Ikea cabinets, but ended up doing a ton of non-standard cabinets. We were planning to use a company that does this type of work in California, but now I am are worried because they don’t do the actual measurements. Thanks in advance.

i had Recycled Brooklyn (in red hook) make door fronts for mine (martha stewart not ikea but same idea).

we used oak, it was between 2-3k for roughly 20 door/drawer fronts. they are just simple slabs not like a shaker style or something more constructed.

you should look into semihandmade, they do this specifically for ikea.

Thanks. We looked at Semihandmade, but they only do the standard ikea door sizes. We need someone that can also do some custom sizes.
