Good morning, I have a nail that is coming up on one of my stair steps and was wondering how to get this fixed? I do not have easy access to my stair case so I would have to do this at the top of the step. Any ideas or resolutions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time.

Pull out the protruding nail and replace it with a screw.

Or just use some epoxy and nail it back in.
