Heat Pump Water Heater

Has anyone installed an electric heat pump water heater, to replace a gas-powered one? If so, how do you like it, who did the job for you, and how much did it cost?

We do a lot of Passive House renovations in which we entirely eliminate gas, so we’ve used them a lot. We stay close in touch with our clients, and none have anything bad to say about them.

I’ve been installing a few of them here and there and I have to admit that I really like them. They’re very big and they produce some cool air which is not always ideal but overall think they’re great.
