Ducted mini split installer

Hi there,

I am looking to get AC installed in part of our house. Looking to get 4 rooms properly cooled with mini split ducted units (to keep the house looking original).

I had one guy come by and give me a quote of $70k! This pretty high to me, especially if you look online for the hardware and realize this costs ~$10k (1 condenser, 4 outlets).

Can people please share who they would recommend for the job? Key is that we don’t want the wall-mounted units but trying to keep cost reasonable.

Not exactly the same but I recently got a wall-mounted unit from Ice Age Mechanical. Cost seemed reasonable, install was quick and clean. (718) 331-4822

Mr Air NYC is amazing and reasonably priced. Did a great job with my parlor floor. That price sounds way too high. The installers can also often get rebates/tax credits. I think it should be under 20k.

I’ve had good experience with J.A.G. Air Conditioning (516) 754-2762 performing repairs others wanted no part in. No experience hiring them for installing but good chance they would be reasonable
