All HVAC won't return calls - worth persisting? Other reccomendations?

Based on recommendations here, my wife and I have been persisttantly calling All HVAC to get them in to give us an extimate on central A/C for our Bed-Stuy brownstone. We’ve spoken to their office ofer a dozen times in the last 3 weeks – we keep getting the same response – “I’ll give the owner the message – he’s very busy.” – I hear they’re very good – but this kind of customer service gives me pause. Are they worth it? Who else can you recommend? I’m also talking to UNICO people, but that’s looking very pricy. Don’t want to get a ductless split system. Thanks!

had a great experience with A&W myself, great in all ways and seemed significantly cheaper than ALL HVAC

I used Palone, they were great . I see their trucks around all the time. They came back when i was getting condensation. My filter was covered in drywall dust. They vacuumed it for us, i was embarrassed, no charge, crisis averted. Very professional crew, they wore gloves to keep the equipment clean.

Two others I found looking thru the forum is Power Air Conditioning and A&W Certified Cooling System.  Haven’t reached the point of getting an estimate yet, but let me know if one of them works out.

You’ve pursued them enough. It doesn’t bode well. You need contractors to be responsive as well as competent. Get another referral and move on — and tell All HVAC why you moved on if they ever do call you back.

I’ve had a fairly easy time getting them (and getting them here).  Maybe they have a temp answering the phones or are just crazy busy with AC work now that the temps suddenly climbed.  You could try emailing debbie at  allhvac dot com.  That’s who I’ve communicated with on phone and in email.
