I second the recommendation – Joe has stripped just about everything that can be stripped in my house beautifully. He is
Dependable and fair, I wouldn’t use anyone else.

I wanted to offer a strong recommendation for Joe Salem/Woodzone. He has just finished restoring our front doors and did a beautiful job. We could not be happier with the finished product–they actually come out much better than we had expected.

Joe completely stripped many layers of paint, replaced rotted sections, got old hardware working perfectly and, where that was not possible, installed new hardware. He then stained the doors beautifully. The doors were in reasonably poor shape to begin with, so the transformation was remarkable.

Just as importantly, Joe was a real pleasure to work with. He came right when he said he would, showed real care for our home in terms of keeping everything clean and neat and finished the job quickly. In fact, the only delays where when it was raining (and then he always texted to let me know).

In terms of price, Joe quoted a very fair price and honored it. He was always 100% honest and is a true craftsman.

+1 for Joe @ Woodzone. He is excellent at what he does and an extremely nice guy. You can tell he truly cares. It shows up in his work and passion.
