Does anyone have recommendations on wood floor installation specialists? My parlor currently has thin old plank floors that are in bad shape. Also a very dark color and looking to brighten the place up with new floors., possibly with herringbone parquet floors. Thank you!

Adam Seim is the greatest thing I’ve come across in (too) many years of home construction and renovation. I can’t say enough good stuff about this guy. Have never met a more honest man (he studied to be a minister), he’s incredibly smart and very talented. And cheap. He’s just …. amazing. To top it all off in his spare time he runs this — http://blissfulbedrooms.org/ He did our roof deck and plenty of other stuff in our house. Lives in Brooklyn. Happy to share more details if needed.
