Wifi Oil Gauge

I was wondering if anyone has a wifi oil gauge on their boiler. My oil company put one in recently and now I don’t have access to any readings. I have to install an app and pay $18 monthly fee to access the measurements. Are other boiler companies doing this? I may switch over for a number of reasons just wondering if this is across the board.
