Urgently seeking Licensed Master Plumber for gas line inspection

You are not going to get any lower pricing … the gas equipment for the inspection costs thousands, has to be recalibrated to pass inspection, not to mention his license is on the line ,…and god forbid you fail…i have a client in soho who is looking at total gas line replacement with a two year window…talking tens of thousands Do you complain to your doctor about his price because his cancer tests only take a few minutes?

The city is requiring owners of all multi-family properties (more than a 2 family) to bring in a Licensed Master Plumber to inspect the gas lines and sign a form attesting to their safety.

One I contacted is charging $750 for what is likely a 20-30 minute job at most.

Does anyone have a LMP to recommend who might charge less?
