spray painting windows black

has anyone spray painted there windows black? if so what did you use just a prime+paint black spray paint?

Liquid masking? When i was a kid i sprayed a vw bug and put a coat of wax on all the chrome/stainless before painting. Faster than masking. All came off.

If op is trying to paint the glas and wants good adhesion, prime it with bin zinser. That stuff is a pain in the neck to get off glass.

If it is the frames, tell us more. The bin zinser might be good for aluminum.

In that case, I would personally prefer to brushpaint the windows and scrape the glass, but if I were to spray, I might use liquid masking.

Since I have a home darkroom and had to blackout a window the same question occurred to me. I suspect the OP is interested in painting tyy he e frame. The other question that occurred to me was whether masking the windows prior to spraying might take longer than painting with a brush.
