Shades for arched windows?
Check interior designer Laurel Bern’s website for ideas. Also the ancient Laura Ashley Book of Home Decorating should address this. If I recall correctly (and understand your setup), the options include hanging straight-top shades above the arches, within the arches with a custom arched top, regular curtains at the sides, or an arched stationary thing at the top inside of each window with straight top shades under. (You could go to an upholstery shop or an interior decorator for custom arch top.) Also you can google “arched window treatments” for ideas.

Any design suggestions for blinds/shades for arched windows in a bedroom? The windows are one piece (not a rectangle and separate semi circle). Given they are bedroom windows, I would like full coverage for bedtime. It is a gut renovation so I have some flexibility in thinking ahead on this. I would prefer closing from bottom up so that we can have privacy but still enjoy the upper arch if wanting to leave that part open. Anyone have any ideas on how to manage this in an elegant way?
