Senior Move Manager

After 36 years of living in Brooklyn, my husband and I are downsizing our 4-story home. We want to hire what’s known as a Senior Move Manager to help us sell, donate, or discard the majority of our belongings, including a lot of “collections” we have accumulated over the years that may or may not have value. It’s a huge undertaking, and we need help in both the planning and execution of all the tasks. Besides the sheer amount of stuff that we have, my main concern is dealing with someone I love who is a borderline hoarder and may not want to give up things as easily as I do. We’re moving 5 thousand miles away, so very little will be forwarded to our new home.

Has anyone been through this process? Can you recommend a senior move manager who has the skills and the patience for this kind of assignment?
