Round doors in a square frame.

Hi I bought my house without any brownstone doors so I finally found a beautiful pair but they are slightly rounded on top. Some brownstones need this specific door but my frame is meant for two double rectangle doors. Has anyone had experience putting rounded exterior doors in the entrance when rectangle ones would probably for better? Or does it not matter? Any thoughts, experiences, photos much appreciated.

in all honesty, everything is available for a price. it can be done to look well or look cheap. my guess is that if you match / complement the design of the door to the rounded out frame, it will look good. if you are looking for a cheap drop-in solution, i’d look for square doors. attached is a generic pic of a well made frame-out. Definitely better off with a rectangular door as that’s the existing opening.
Going with a arched top will require trim to fill in the remaining space, and won’t look as good.
