Replacing Wall to Wall Carpeting in a 1 BR Brooklyn Apt.
They may charge you slightly more but will probably be understanding if there is nowhere else to move the furniture (kitchen? bathroom? hall?) There are a lot of local carpet businesses including some family owned that have been around for generations in Brooklyn. Do a google search. (Never heard of buying carpet at Home Depot.)

Time to replace the wall to wall carpeting in my apartment. It is a one bedroom and carpeting will be only in living room and bedroom. I used Empire 15 years ago and was very happy with them. That was for an empty apartment. Does it sound reasonable/possible to do this on two separate days so we can move all furniture from 1 room to the other? I am also open to not using Empire if anyone has a positive experience to report, Home Depot?
