Recommending Steve at Brownstone Home Inspection

I first worked with Steve over a year ago, when he did an extremely thorough full inspection of my home. I have been slowly ramping up to renovate, and the information I got from Steve’s inspection greatly informed some of the repair work I’m now bidding out to contractors. He’s the single best professional we’ve had in our home and someone we eagerly recommend to friends and family looking for inspection services.

Steve really cares about his customers and has great passion for historic homes, and since that first inspection has continued to be helpful when I’ve had followup questions and issues. Almost a year later, Steve made time to speak with me today and help me with some recommendations and contractor screening tips, and also reminded me about some unique characteristics of my home that I need to consider in my construction project.

I cannot recommend Steve highly enough. He’s more than a home inspector, he’s a seasoned building and historic home expert who continues to go above and beyond to make I have the knowledge and connections I need to maintain and sustain my (sometimes frustrating and complex) historic property. I’d be lost without him.
