Looking for advice on the best type of steel grating/deck to use for the floor of a steel deck. What matters to me in descending order:
1) getting light through to floor below
2) barefoot comfort
3) safety (avoidance of slipping / high heel shoes)

No.1 was a priority for me – I used 3/8″x1 1/2″ steel flat bars with 1″ Spacing. Good for light below, not awful for barefoot comfort (imho), no slipping issues, disastrous for high heels.
