Recommendations for Ductless Cooling systems

We are looking to install a ductless cooling system in our brownstone. Any recommendations for companies you used? Thank you.

I used Joe @ Air Way HVAC (917 578-8099) and was very happy with the cost, speed & quality of work, if you call say JJ sent you. He won’t patch and paint, but most of the folks that do it at a good price won’t either. Also make sure to review very carefully where he wants to put the equipment and lines.

We want a ductless cooling system for a 3 story, 4 bedroom brownstone. Has never had any type of cooling system in place. Not sure what else you need to know.

Interesting — friends of ours just installed a system a couple of months ago and got most of their quotes from people I found for them by searching on the forum — the threads were within last couple of years and those that didn’t have contact info were google-able. They didn’t go with people listed, and didn’t like the installer (who shall remain nameless — there’s probably little danger of anyone on here independently contacting them).

Maybe try a few different search terms.

booisgolden, I have done a search and came up with a few, but for the most part they were from posts that were much older or people/companies that do not have contact information. I would want to hear from folks that have had recent work done and really liked the work.
