Good quote.

We are looking at clean out / line / re-brick the opening for a fireplace, as well as reline a boiler chimney. Quote “ball-parked” at $8,500 for the fireplace and $7,000 for the boiler. I saw a post on here from last year that pegged the cost for a fireplace liner to “at least $6,000,” but just wondering if anyone went through with this work recently and if these costs are in-line.

4 floors for the fireplace from parlor (roughly 45 feet to the roof). Boiler is another floor down, so roughly 55 feet for that.

If that $6,000 figure is for a three story house the estimates you received seem to be in line.
