Need facade work on landmarked limestone

Limestone is different from brownstone. What if the limestone is painted. Can it be restored, or is the limestone hard to restore?

Looking for recommendations for a great contractor for limestone facade work on a landmark bldg. Thus far, I’ve reached out to numerous groups vetted by the Landmark Commission but have found groups to be unresponsive and unprofessional (ie someone just failed to show up to a 10am apptmt).

While not Limestone, I have used Amin for 3 full brownstone facade restorations and couldn’t be happier. Several neighbors on my street have used him as well after seeing how our house came out.

I was happy with the work Kevin Morgan did on my limestone and Roman brick house. He also did good jobs on my two adjoining neighbors’ houses. However note that each time O recommend him here another frequent poster comments about his bad experience with Kevin.

Hi, does anyone know what type of sealer, if any, they recommend on the in tact parts of the brownstone that do not need repair on a partial facade upgrade? Also, if that sealer affects the coloration? Thanks!
