Hi there, we were contacted by NHR, and to me they look like a scam. By the looks of it they assess home improvement projects (through site visit) and then match you to discounts, rebates, tax credits etc.. and local contractors/ lenders who can help with the project and financing. They do not look legitimate, but their services are free so wondering if it can be a scam? I’ve found nothing online (news, better business bureau, attorney general’s site).

I never heard of them, but if your gut tells you it’s a scam beware. I any case any “service” that claims to be national is probably irrelevant for NYC
