Mason Needed

I second the recommendation of Anthony the mason (Anthony Bauer) who did a beautiful job here, one half of it on the exterior, which included a perfect match of the exsiting color, the second half a rebuild of an interior wall, which he finished in a beautiful faux stone pattern. I am looking for a mason to repair a parapet (I think that’s what its called…facade above the level of the roof). Only looking for recommendations from Brownstoners who have used a particular mason. Please don’t reply if you are a contractor yourself.

Make sure the person has the license and insurance to do such kind of work.I hired Hamid for our renovation and masonry work.

We had about 25 feet parapet wall replaced last year by Alfonso Valorusso of Valorusso & Sons. He came recommended by Premier Roofing who was doing our roof replacement at the time. Not the cheapest but did what he had to do quickly with no issues.

From personal experrience, I would recommend using Shaiful for your exterior masonry project, recently they completely restored our side wall; it was deteriorated and basically falling apart. They installed a metal screen (mesh) ans restored it to its original condition.
