I have a Marvin Ultimate Wood Double Hung window with a broken balance that needs to be repaired. Vela came to look at it but informed me that they can’t get the part(s) required to fix it, only homeowners can order parts from Marvin. The windows were installed by the previous owner in 2007 and they used E-Z Tilt at the time. Apparently that is now Historical Windows which seems impossible to reach without a specific contact name or extension number as they do not have anyone answering the phone. So, any recommendations for who to go to for the parts I need to order? Any Marvin dealers that are efficient and easy to work with? Vela said that if I get the parts, they can still do the repair. If I end up having to use a Marvin installer, so be it.

We’ve been using a company called Art Windows for many years to replace the balances on our aluminum windows. We just used t HT em last week, so I know they’re still around. Maybe they can help.
