Mansard roof leak

Hi everyone, so we found out that the leak going into the apartment on the 2nd floor is coming from the mansard part of the roof (the wooden part that slopes down), and we have an estimate of 25k to fix the leak. We don’t really have 25k laying around. Suggestions?
