Looking for a Great Carpenter for Moulding Work

That might be our Alex. I hope he will be done with a piece of the big job in our house by summer. He is great with all things wood and working on the second old house with us.

My brownstone has a real patchwork of mouldings — maybe 6 different styles on the Parlor baseboards alone. There are various gaps and damaged mouldings in other places. I am looking for someone to do some ‘surgical’ work to streamline everything. The goal isn’t perfection, just to clean things up a bit, do replacements and restore some of the original woodwork. Anyone know a great (but not fancy/expensive 🙂 carpenter who might take some pleasure in a jigsaw-puzzle type job like this?
