Landmark Window Replacement
I am researching companies to replace landmark windows in Cobble Hill. I have gotten wildly different estimates: WindowFix and NYHistorical Windows around $60,000 and WindowsWeAre at around $30,000. I’m baffled as to why this discrepancy. Does anybody have experience/opinion/advice about these companies?

Recently I found NY Historical Windows to be hopelessly slow and inefficient. And this was just at the estimating stage — I never went further. They were a better company when half their business was in Brooklyn (operating from Bay Ridge and trading under the name EZ-Tilt). I used them twice back then and they were great, though still not inexpensive. They now seem to exist only to service the investment bankers who own UES townhouses.
